“ From the moment we met Joe we knew he was perfect to capture our wedding day Joe was very professional, understanding of our needs and also had good ideas of how to capture the best moments , Joe was so easy to get along with and we had such a laugh with him which put us at ease. I was overwhelmed with our pictures as I didn't realize he had taking them, so professional In every way We can't thank you enough Joe for doing a wonderful job “

A couple of the most searched for questions about wedding photography

Why have a wedding photographer?

One of the biggest reasons for me is that couple’s go through so much time, effort and money so they can have there own special day. They wake up a couple of days later with a few prezzies and a wedding dress to remember the day. That is where the wedding photographer comes in. So you can look at your photos and remember the feelings of your special day for decades to come.

What wedding photographer to choose?

There are 100s if not 1000s of wedding photographers to choose from in your area, you need to find one within your budget but also look at there style of photography. For example I am more of a Candid style photographer which basically means I wont be forcing anyone to pose all the time. I try to keep posing to a minimum. Where as some other wedding photographers will bring a lot of lighting gear and pose you all the time. You also need to look into the photographer’s style of editing, Some are heavy on colour grading were as I edit with a more timeless feel so photos still look great in 20 years.

What does a wedding Photographer do?

Apart from the obvious (Capture the happiest day ever!) all photographers have there own way of preparing for your day.

Prepare-Photograph-Edit-Deliver, This is basically in very short what a photographer has to do. Depending on the photographer depends on how much effort they put into each section.

Some wedding photographers like myself will put extra effort in to ensure your day goes smoothly, for example visiting the church or venue before hand, find out where would be nice to get your couples shots, where to take the family portraits etc. All so as the photographer we don’t slow the day down or get in the way.
