I will keep this short because i don’t know about you but just speaking about insurance makes me feel like Harry Enfield in Kevin and Perry.

So basically a lot of venues now especially big manor houses, mansions and big hotels want to see proof that the photographer has Public liability insurance (PLI).

Its a just in case we burn the place to the ground or break a 600 year old vase we can stand there and shout reassuringly its ok people its ok I have insurance! Meanwhile 500 people stare in shock about what just happened! :)

Jokes aside it is very important you check your photographer has PLI, not only does it cover for damage but also injury.

Check sooner than later with the photographer just in case the venue asks for it a little later than expected then all of sudden its 2 days before the wedding and photographer has not got PLI !

Without proof the photographer can not attend.
